Since 1st July 2015 Ofcom implemented the regulatory rates plus access charge across NGCS calls for consumers. Carriers are implementing charges for business to business. Businesses can now benefit from known access call charges.

Effective from: 1st June 2018

Price changes

CPS (Carrier Pre Selection) is now no longer a change controlled service. As a result, an industry-wide CPS price change by carriers has increased the cost of these calls with effect from 1st September 2018, to be applied on a per call basis. With effect from 1st November 2018 iCS will be applying this increased change, no backdated charge will be applied.

BT have announced that they are consulting on the withdrawal of WLR in the coming years. They have also increased the prices of most WLR features. iCS will be applying these increased charges with effect from 1st November 2018.

iCS have reviewed the connect charge for customers that is applied to all calls out of bundle excluding certain premium destinations to ensure it is standardised. This is in line with wholesale costs which have increased with the trend of traffic moving from conventional CPS to VOIP. The connect charge is now 2p across qualifying calls.

Effective from: 1st November 2018

NGCS 1-100 calls will be charged at fixed regulatory rates plus an access charge of 5 pence per minute. Click the link below for more information and an explanation of the charges.
